How do I add runs to Running Track?
Running Track reads your runs from Apple Health. It does not record any running data, and isn’t intended to be used while running - it works by reading running data from other apps that record to Apple Health. So you can add runs simply by using any app that syncs runs to Apple Health. The Apple Watch Workouts app, Strava, Runkeeper and MapMyRun are popular examples, and there are lots more around.

What do I get with my membership?
- Create goals! Set yourself a target such as running 100 miles in a year. Then track your progress as you run.
- Edit PBs! If your personal best time for a given distance isn't in Apple Health, add it in. Swipe on the distance you want to edit, and set your new time. Make sure you get credit for that awesome run you did.
- Share runs! If you ran with a friend, you can export a GPX file, which can be imported by most common running apps, including Strava, Runkeeper and more. Most apps let you import runs, but Running Track is one of very few that let you export them. (Fun fact: this feature pre-dates Running Track. I built a really basic “RunExporter” app to share runs with my partner, and then added it to Running Track later.)
- Future developments! There are already a lot of features in development which I can't wait to share. If you want to help test them, please join the TestFlight beta.
- And lastly, my gratitude, for supporting the development of Running Track. I love making this app, and I hope you enjoy using it. Thank you.
How do I join the Run Club?
To join the Run Club, simply add a goal, share a run, or edit a PB. Or you can tap the button on the Settings tab of the app.
How do I get a refund for my Run Club payment?
Please ask Apple. You can use this link to request a refund. Apple handles all payments and refunds on the App Store. I'm sorry Running Track isn't working out for you, but no hard feelings! If you have any feedback about why you're cancelling your Run Club membership, please get in touch by email.
How do I delete my account?
Just delete the app! Running Track doesn't have any account stored anywhere outside of your phone. So if you don't want to use Running Track any more, just delete it from your phone and all data will be deleted too. Simple as that. Here's a link to Apple's guide to deleting apps.
How safe/private is my data?
Running Track doesn't upload any of your personal data to any server. All your running data comes from Apple Health, and is stored there too, and any other data is added by you when you use the app. It's not sold, uploaded, or stored for any use other than to help you understand your running. So it's about as safe and private as can be!
Supported iOS Versions
Running Track supports iOS 18 and later.
(It is not available on the iPad or Mac, but supporting both is on the future roadmap. Get in touch by email if you’re looking for iPad or Mac support - this helps when prioritising upcoming features.)
